Automotive and EV: dangerous-goods transport enquiries
Prepare a transport enquiry around the goods and the delivery requirement. ADR Carriers will need to assess the consignment and confirm the service scope before booking.
Describe the goods
For EV batteries, explain whether the pack is new, used, removed from a vehicle, damaged or waste. Include dimensions, weight, lifting points and packaging. Airbags, pretensioners, paints and workshop chemicals need their own consignor-confirmed classification.
Workshop and manufacturing deliveries
Identify loading equipment, dock access and receiving hours. If a battery has been involved in a collision or thermal event, disclose that before a movement is assessed.
