Prepare a transport enquiry around the goods and the delivery requirement. ADR Carriers will need to assess the consignment and confirm the service scope before booking.
Describe the goods
For packaged solvents, acids, oxidisers or other chemicals, provide the UN number, proper shipping name, packing group where applicable, package type and quantity. Identify mixed loads and compatibility considerations.
Packaged goods and bulk requests
State whether the movement is packaged freight or bulk/tank carriage. Do not assume a packaged-goods service provides tanker capability. Include loading restrictions, site induction and the receiving contact.
