Class 1 transport needs assessment of the specific explosive substance or article, the load and the route. Contact ADR Carriers before planning a collection of explosives, ammunition or fireworks; acceptance is confirmed for each consignment.

Details needed for an explosives quote
Provide the UN number, proper shipping name, division, compatibility group and total net explosive quantity (NEQ), together with package count, gross weight and packaging details. Include collection and delivery restrictions and any site access arrangements.
Vehicle, security and route assessment
The team needs the load details to assess vehicle suitability and the applicable transport and security arrangements. EX/II or EX/III requirements depend on the movement; this page does not claim blanket acceptance of every division or load size.
Fireworks and ferry movements
For fireworks, provide the consignor-confirmed classification and NEQ rather than only the retail product description. Include any detonators, charges or ammunition by their consignor-confirmed classification. Any ferry leg requires the selected operator to accept the specific consignment. A road transport arrangement does not itself establish maritime acceptance.
